Hiking Potato Chip Rock in San Diego

Potato Chip Rock in San Diego is one of the best hikes for the photo op and for the great views! There’s 3 routes you can choose from 1. Mt Woodson from Lake Poway (most popular) 2. Mt Woodson via HWY 67 (paved road) 3. Mt Woodson from blue sky reserve (longest route) I took the longest route starting from blue sky reserve and loved it! Parking was free and the oak trees provided some shade. The only difference between the route from blue sky reserve and the route from Lake Poway is the first 2.5 miles.
